Day 1: Srinagar
Pickup from Airport and transfer you to Deluxe Houseboat.
Evening enjoy shikararide tour which will cover Charchinar, Floating
Gardens, and evening back to Houseboat / Hotel. Dinner & Overnight at Stay
Day 2: Srinagar
– Local Sightseeing
After breakfast take the half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens
visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode
of love). In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy th e
beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice.
You will get a view of some very interesting Places around the Lake. Dinner
& Overnight at Houseboat.
Day 03 : Srinagar - Pahalgam
(84 ksm) Pahalgam - Aru (11 KMS)
The first stage of this trek, from Pahalgam to Aru, can be done by vehicle.
It is, however, recommended that the trail be walked to acclimatize ahead of
the tougher routes to follow. Enjoy the beautiful view of great mountains
covered by nature. Overnight stay in tent.
Day 04 : Aru - Lidderwat.(11 KMS)
The short trek from Aru to Lidderwat runs through thick pine forests to
undulating meadows where the trekker can see the local shepherds grazing
livestock. From Lidderwat the trail follows the west bank of the Lidder
through Gujjar encampments to the largest nomadic village in the area at
Satlanjan.
Day 05 : Lidderwat - Kolahoi (16 KMS)
The Kolahoi peak (5,734 metres) is usual ly clouded over by midmorning,
so it is advise to start early from Satlanjan. The trekker does not have to
go to the glacier to view Kolahoi; you also have the choice of ascending the
ridge opposite Kolahoi, or climbing to Dodsar after fording the Lidder
stream. You can return to Lidderwat the same Day or leave the next morning
for Aru.
Day 06 : Lidderwat - Tarasar Lake
After breakfast leave early morning from Lidderwat to Tarasar Lake and
take packed lunch along with you and in the evening return back to base
camp. Night stay in tent.
Day 07 : Tarasar Lake - Aru - Srinagar
After breakfast, leave from Lidderwat to Aru where the car will be
waiting and then drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay in houseboat.
Day 08 : Srinagar
After breakfast, morning free for leisure and transfer to the airport for
onwards.
